Nuclear power isn’t fear

The reactor down the street isn’t going to explode and leak radioactive waste all over the place. The fear associated with the power source has been prevalent since it’s inception, but despite the intense regulation and safety put in place, people still fear it as arcane and dangerous. The fear is irrational just as shark attacks are an irrational fear, millions of people visit the oceans every year, but only a handful of people are attacked by sharks and only a fraction die or come out of it with serious injuries.
